By joining our affiliate program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Commission
The default commission rate is 5% on eligible sales generated through your affiliate link or code. This rate may be adjusted for certain high-priced or low-margin products.
2. Commission Calculation
Commissions are calculated after taxes, shipping fees, and discounts are deducted. Personal purchases made through your own affiliate link or code are not eligible for commission.
3. Cookie Validity
Tracking cookies remain active for 8 days after a user clicks on your affiliate link. Sales made by existing customers are not retroactively eligible.
4. Commission Payments
Commissions are paid on request by the affiliate, after a 60-day validation period following the date of purchase. Once the minimum payout threshold ($50 CAD) is reached, the affiliate may request payment via PayPal using the address provided by Tisse et File. Payments are processed once per month, following receipt of the request. Unclaimed commissions may be forfeited after 12 months of inactivity without notice.
5. Ineligible Sales
Cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent sales do not qualify for commissions. Self-referrals (same IP address, email, etc.) are also excluded.
6. Responsible Promotion
The program must be promoted in a respectful and ethical manner, without spam, unauthorized couponing, deceptive advertising, or paid ads targeting the brand name (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, etc.).
7. Account Suspension
Tisse et File reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate any affiliate account at its sole discretion, particularly in cases of suspicious activity or breach of these terms.
8. Non-Disparagement Clause
Affiliates agree not to disparage Tisse et File, its products, or its representatives during the program or for one year following their participation.
9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
Affiliates agree to indemnify Tisse et File against any claim, legal action, or liability resulting from their actions (including marketing content, promotional methods, or inaccurate statements).
10. Terms Modification
Tisse et File reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, without prior notice.
11. Jurisdiction
Any disputes related to the program will be governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and submitted to the courts of the district of Beauharnois.
