Why add a second warping bar?
With the traditional Mirrix warping method, the warp travels around the loom. This setup allows you to weave pieces longer than the visible height of the loom by advancing the weaving as you work.
For a shorter project, however, all of that warp length may not be necessary. The Extra Warping Bar Kit creates a shorter warp path by adding a second warping bar.
This allows you to use only the amount of warp your project requires, helping to reduce wasted warp material.
Use less warp

Instead of wrapping the warp completely around the loom, the second bar shortens the warp path. This is particularly useful when working with expensive or specialized warp materials, or whenever your project does not require the full warp length provided by traditional Mirrix warping.
