What is the difference between A and T series?
A-series weave up to 22″: compact, perfect for samples, scarves, and accessories. T-series weave up to 36″: ideal for blankets, yardage, and larger textiles. Each series is available with 4 or 8 shafts (6 or 10 treadles).
Can the loom fold while warped?
Yes. Harrisville looms fold even while warped, without losing tie-ups — practical for transport and saving space.
Why are snap chains useful?
They replace cords and knots: tie-ups become quick, reliable, and fully modular for all treadle ↔ shaft combinations.
Is the mechanism noisy?
