Love your Mirrix loom but wish you could weave much longer pieces? Mirrix Loom Extenders add up to 24" (61 cm) of weaving length to the Little Guy 12", Big Sister 16" and Deb 19" looms.
Particularly useful for belts, straps, long narrow tapestries and other elongated projects, they significantly increase the capacity of your existing loom without requiring you to move up to a larger model. This configuration also includes the feet extenders needed to maintain the loom's stability when used upright on a table.

Why add Loom Extenders to your Mirrix?
Is the width of your loom perfect for your needs, but its length sometimes becomes a limitation? Loom Extenders were designed precisely for this situation.
By adding the extenders to the loom's threaded rods, you gain 24" of additional weaving length. This allows you to create much longer projects while retaining the width, tensioning system and familiar operation of your existing Mirrix loom.
They are particularly useful when you want to weave long, relatively narrow pieces without investing in a larger loom.

Which loom is it compatible with?
This configuration is compatible with three Mirrix Classic Series looms. It adds the same amount of weaving length to each model; the weaving width remains that of your existing loom.

Important: the additional 24" refers to the extra weaving length specified by Mirrix when using continuous warping. The total available weaving length therefore depends on the loom on which the extenders are installed.
Our recommendations
Are Loom Extenders useful for every project?
They are most useful when length is the limiting factor on your loom. They do not increase its weaving width. If your main goal is to weave wider pieces, a larger Mirrix loom will be a better choice.
What about loom stability?
Adding Loom Extenders significantly increases the loom's height. This configuration therefore also includes extenders for the fold-out feet, helping the loom maintain its stability when used upright on a table.

Installation and use
The Loom Extenders lengthen the threaded side rods of your Mirrix using connecting hardware. Once installed, they increase the available warp length and provide up to 24" of additional weaving length when using continuous warping.
The included feet extenders compensate for the additional height and help the loom maintain its stability when used upright on a work surface.
Because installation requires partial disassembly of the loom, take care to correctly align all components when reassembling your Mirrix.
