Kits for Shaft Looms
Ready-to-weave kits for shaft looms: coordinated materials and step-by-step instructions.
Choose by skill level (beginner → advanced) and technique.
Our kits for shaft looms include coordinated materials and step-by-step instructions to complete your project (scarves, towels, home textiles…). Check the required number of shafts (4/8), the weaving width, and the recommended reed sett.
How to choose your kit
- Skill level: start with a beginner kit (4-shaft basics), then move to more complex effects (8-shaft, advanced structures).
- Weaving width: confirm your loom’s usable width matches the project requirements.
- Reed / sett: follow the suggested sett (dpi or dents/cm) to get the intended hand and width.
Do kits include instructions?
Yes — each kit comes with detailed, step-by-step guidance (warping, weaving, finishing). The exact contents are listed on each kit page.
Can I substitute the yarns?
Often yes. Keep an equivalent sett/yarn size to preserve the final width and fabric hand.
