An elegant and refined weaving kit designed to create a lightweight, soft, and breathable scarf, woven on a shaft loom using Swiss-grown mulberry silk.

Detailed description

The Emma scarf weaving kit was designed as a refined and rewarding project for weavers who are already comfortable working on a shaft loom. It provides enough yarn to weave one scarf measuring approximately 11 in x 70 in after wet finishing, excluding fringe.

The scarf is woven using Tisse et File 2/20 silk, a mulberry silk grown in Switzerland. Compared to wild silk (Tussah), this silk is smoother, rounder, and more even in diameter. Its longer filaments contribute to a clean, consistent weave and an exceptionally pleasant hand. The natural cream color highlights the structure of the cloth while remaining timeless and easy to wear.

The result is a scarf that is soft, light, and comfortable, pleasant both for warmth and for maintaining a fresh, breathable feel. Simple in appearance yet refined in texture, it is the kind of accessory you quickly reach for every day.
