Schacht maple boat shuttles are beautifully shaped and well balanced. They are sanded smooth and then given a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish.

Schacht offers slim and regular double-bobbin boat shuttles that are ideal for doubled weft threads. Two separate bobbin shafts make it possible to remove one bobbin at a time.

Loving the double bobbin boat shuttle

Loving the double bobbin boat shuttle. I was able to fit the bobbins onto the quill spindle for my E3 spinner. Very little practise required to learn to manage both threads at the selvage. The shuttle is flawlessly made and the ends work perfectly with floating selvages.
