Spinning wheel course
Discover the spinning of a two-ply yarn.
In this class, after reviewing the different parts of the spinning wheel, you will discover the fibers and their characteristics, their manual preparation, be introduced to spinning, and then see how to twist your yarn.
After this course, you will be able to spin on a spinning wheel; you will have all the necessary basis to perfect your technique through practice.
Sabrina was immersed in the world of fiber at a very young age. Her grandmothers, both maternal and paternal, introduced her to what would become her favorite pastime. Sabrina knits, crochets, weaves and of course, spins. She readily recounts the relaxation and happiness that these activities bring her. She particularly enjoys mastering the path from raw fleece to a finished piece, passing through the washing, carding, dyeing, and spinning of natural fibers before crocheting, knitting or weaving her pieces.
Her work, whether it be her yarns, knitted or woven pieces are beautifully crafted and represent a means of expressing all her creativity.
